Abu Dhabi has many island developments in the works. But few will be as sparsely populated, or as pricey, as Nurai Island, the name developers have given to one of the area’s most private and upmarket communities.
The 130,000-square-meter island is about to be transformed into an achingly glamorous and luxurious resort and exclusive private residential estate, comprised of one boutique luxury hotel resort with 60 suites, 31 beachfront estates and 36 water villas. The project is a collaboration between New York based Studio Dror, led by Dor Benshetrit.
Alternatively, the resort Water Villas offer an unparalleled over-water living experience. The homes are situated over the crystal clear waters surrounding the island and include three bedrooms and four bathrooms occupying 5,540 square feet. These contemporary resort villas indulge the fortunate few with every amenity one could wish for in a home - a private beach, rooftop.
